"It has been a year since I placed myself in the Allen Psychiatry PHP / IOP program. It is decision I am happy to have made. In the program, I was challenged by the session leader, and others in the group, to do the tough job of looking inward. During this journey, I was supported not only by the staff, but by others within the group. These are people I will never forget. They are all with my every day helping me to be a better version of myself. This combined with the individual sessions I now attend, has helped my with my condition of CPTSD, and other that stem from it. I feel healthier, more joyful, and most of all increasingly freer of the weight I had carried for so long. The Team here are all wonderful, and work well together to support the individual and the collect in groups sessions. There is so much more that I want to say. Simply put? These folks are wonderful, and they all have my gratitude. I write all this to say, if you are struggling, need help, and want ""it all"" to change for the better, I could not point you to a better group of people to help you find your way out of ""it.""

Everything you need to know about our IOP and PHP programs

Any amount not covered by your insurance is the responsibility of the patient. We'll inform you of your estimated costs before your appointment so there are no surprises.

Partial Hospitalization meets 5 days a week for 4 hours a day. This includes a weekly medication management session and 2 process review sessions over the 4 weeks of treatment. This program is designed to provide intensive support while you live at home. Intensive Outpatient is offered 3 days a week for 3 hours a day. Included in this program is 2 progress review sessions and the option to engage in weekly individual therapy with one of our licensed professional counselors. This program model allows flexibility for individuals to attend work or school. Both programs are designed to provide collaborative and comprehensive care. Our treatment team will work together to determine which program is right for you and your goals.

Program length is individualized based on your progress and needs. PHP typically lasts a minimum of 4 weeks, with the option for extensions as clinically indicated, before stepping down to IOP. IOP usually runs for 8–10 weeks. Together, participation in PHP followed by IOP generally lasts 12–14 weeks in total. Throughout the program, your progress is regularly assessed and the treatment plan is adjusted as needed to best support your recovery.

A day in PHP/IOP includes time for group processing, interpersonal learning, collaborative care across departments, and structured skill-building. In addition, participants have the option to engage in individual therapy sessions with their providers throughout the course of treatment. Each group experience is unique and designed to support growth and recovery.

IOP is designed to accommodate work and school schedules, offering morning, midday, and evening sessions. PHP requires a temporary break from these commitments due to the intensive daily schedule, but many patients view this as valuable time dedicated to healing.

Most insurance plans cover IOP and PHP as medically necessary treatments. Our admissions team will verify your benefits, handle authorization, and explain any out-of-pocket costs. We also offer payment plans to ensure treatment is accessible.

Our programs treat a wide range of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and co-occurring disorders.

Most insurance plans do not require a referral to see a psychiatrist or therapist. However, some HMO plans may require one. Check with your insurance or call us and we can help verify.

We accept most major insurance plans, for a majority of services, including Medicare. Our billing team will verify your benefits and explain any costs before your appointment. We also offer self-pay options with transparent pricing.

You can schedule online through our website, call us at (469) 340-2777, or fill out our contact form. Our intake team will help match you with the right provider and find a convenient appointment time.

You have two options: pay our self-pay rates, or we can file the claim as an out-of-network provider on your behalf. With out-of-network filing, higher deductibles and coinsurance typically apply, and your insurance may not cover the service at all.

We understand that life happens. To avoid a cancellation fee, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice for new patient appointments and 24 hours’ notice for follow-up appointments, during regular business hours. Appointments can be managed through our patient portal or by calling our office. Same day cancelation & rescheduling fees are as follows: - New Patients Medication Management (48 hours): $150.00 - Follow Ups Medication Management (24 hours): $100.00 - TMS, Spravato, PHP & IOP (24 hours): $100.00 - Psychological Testing (24 hours): $200.00 - Therapy (24 hours): $150.00

Due to state laws and regulations, patients must be in the state of Texas at the time of their virtual appointment.

Payment is due at the time of service or before your appointment. We require a valid credit or debit card on file for all patients.

We do not currently accept Medicaid. However, we offer competitive self-pay rates and flexible payment plans for patients without commercial insurance coverage.
