About Sydney

As an Allen native, Sydney is excited to work with this population to help clients define the life they want for themselves and actively work to attain that future. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, going to the movies, going on walks, engaging in new experiences, traveling, trying out new restaurants, and spending time with her family, friends, and dog.

Treatment Approach

Sydney enjoys working from a constructivist therapy and solution-focused approach with aspects of positive psychology and narrative therapy. She loves psychoeducation, and providing clients with useful knowledge, alternative perspectives, and practical tools to help navigate their life journeys.

Professional Experience

Sydney has experience working in various settings with individuals and groups across the lifespan with varying levels of acuity. Her most recent work was in the inpatient behavioral hospital setting where she worked with those dealing with significant mental health crises, trauma, substance use, depression, anxiety, and suicidality.
