About Nisha

Dr. Saraiya comes from a family of physicians, and her interest in medicine has been deeply rooted since childhood. During her clinical rotations in medical school, she discovered a profound connection to psychiatry—a field where she felt uniquely positioned to make a meaningful impact. “I realized that psychiatry is where I’m meant to be,” she explains. “It allows me to build authentic, therapeutic relationships with my patients and understand them beyond lab values and diagnostic data.” Originally from Lewisville, Texas, Dr. Saraiya is also passionate about personal well-being and connection outside of her clinical work. She enjoys baking, bread-making, and spending quality time with loved ones. A devoted animal lover, she shares her home with her cat, Matilda.
