Cartrina Danner, PMHNP is passionate about serving others and dedicated to providing comprehensive and individualized mental health care in a team approach with her clients. Cartrina is recognized as an Advanced Practice Nurse by the Texas Board of Nursing and is board certified by the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC).. In her spare time, Cartrina enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Professional Experience

She received her first Bachelor of Science in Community Health at the University of Central Arkansas in 1998. She worked in several roles serving those in her community which would eventually lead her to further her career in healthcare. Cartrina earned her Diploma in Registered Nursing at Baptist Health School of Nursing in Little Rock, Arkansas in 2003. She would later earn her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington, with PMHNP as her specialty. Prior to the completion of her advanced practice degree, she worked within the Texas Health Resources system for over 15 years. Her clinical experience involved roles in various inpatient and outpatient settings including: Oncology, Medical-Surgical, Orthopedics, Neurology, and Surgical Services. In these roles, she was able to identify the need for an increase in mental health providers and a decrease in the negative stigma associated with it.
