About Andrew
Andrew is an LPC‑Associate with a heart for service, a commitment to clinical excellence, and a deep belief in the power of hope and healing. Andrew is passionate about helping individuals rediscover resilience, develop practical coping skills, and experience lasting transformation. He values collaboration and strives to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. His work is guided by the belief that every person has inherent worth and value with the capacity for growth, no matter their story. Outside of his clinical work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his family, serving in his church community, and creating engaging, metaphor‑rich lessons that help people connect deeper with their own healing process.
Treatment Approach
His approach blends evidence‑based therapeutic practices ie. CBT, ACT, DBT, and motivational interviewing with a steady, compassionate presence rooted in his life experience and beliefs. As a husband and father, Andrew understands the importance of strong relationships, emotional well-being and the kind of support that strengthens families and communities. He brings that same relational warmth into the counseling space —meeting each person with respect, patience, humor, and a genuine desire to walk alongside them in their healing journey.
Professional Experience
After completing his masters degree in counseling and obtaining his associate license, he has continued leading IOP mental health groups for adults. Andrew has also aided at another intensive outpatient program in North Texas, where he gained hands‑on experience supporting adults navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar disorder, and life‑transition challenges. Specifically, Andrew has special interest in helping people find purpose in their work and lives, those dealing with grief and loss, infertility, perfectionism, and people pleasing.
